.wme Domain Information
Talent representation, entertainment, and sports agency services sit behind .wme, a three-letter restricted extension from ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program. Talent agencies carry an impersonation exposure specific to their business: fraudulent casting and representation offers targeting aspiring performers are a persistent problem, and they trade directly on recognized agency names.
Use covers agency and client content, division destinations, and corporate resources. Registration is closed to the public and the extension carries no aftermarket. Entertainment industry applicants were a small contingent in the round, and three-letter strings were the scarcest asset available to any of them.
