.thd Domain Information
Home improvement retail and building supplies sit behind .thd, a three-letter restricted extension from ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program. It is the abbreviated counterpart to a longer retail string filed by the same applicant, following the round's standard practice of securing both a full name and the short form that appears in ticker symbols and internal systems.
Use covers corporate, supplier, and operational destinations rather than consumer-facing retail content. Registration is closed to the public and the extension carries no aftermarket. Three-letter strings were the scarcest asset in the program, which justified the paired filing regardless of how actively the shorter string was developed.
