.schaeffler Domain

Rolling bearings, precision components, and automotive systems sit behind .schaeffler, a restricted extension from ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program. Bearing manufacturers supply components specified into machinery and vehicles by part number, where load ratings and tolerances are consulted by engineers and maintenance staff long after the original purchase.

Use covers product and component content, technical documentation and catalogues, industry application resources, and country sites. Registration is closed to the public and the extension carries no aftermarket. Counterfeit bearings are a recognized problem in industrial supply chains, entering through sellers whose credibility rests on a plausible-looking address.
