.nextdirect Domain Information
Online and catalogue retail sits behind .nextdirect, a restricted extension from ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program. It is the longer member of a pair filed alongside .next, and the construction does real work: appending a descriptive word to an extremely common adjective produces a string that is unambiguous in a way the bare word can never be.
Use covers ordering and delivery destinations, product and collection content, and international market sites. Registration is closed to the public and the extension carries no aftermarket. Disambiguation by lengthening recurs throughout the round wherever the preferred string is a common word — trading brevity for clarity as a verification signal.
