.mutuelle Domain Information
The .mutuelle string is the French term for a mutual insurance organization, applied for in ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program. French health and insurance mutuals are a substantial and legally defined category, which makes this a descriptive sector term rather than a brand — the same closed-generic question as .mutual, in a different language.
Language-specific descriptive strings expose an inconsistency in how the round handled generics: a word that is plainly a category term in its own language may attract less scrutiny than its English equivalent, simply because fewer objectors are reading. The extension is not currently active in the DNS root zone and is not available for registration by any party.
