通用电气公司 is the Chinese-script counterpart to .gecompany, applied for by the same industrial group in ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program. The characters translate the corporate name in full — "general electric company" — which produces a six-character string that is considerably more legible in Chinese than the constructed Latin variant is in English.

Its A-label, xn--55qx5d8y0buji4b870u, is among the longest in the round, since Chinese characters expand substantially under Punycode encoding. The extension is not currently active in the DNS root zone and is not available for registration by any party.
