E-commerce and retail services sit behind .yamaxun, a restricted extension from ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program. The string is the Pinyin romanisation of the Mandarin rendering of a global retail brand name — a phonetic transliteration rather than a translation, chosen so the name reads naturally to Chinese speakers while remaining ASCII-addressable.

Use relates to the operator's own retail and marketplace destinations. Registration is closed to the public and the extension carries no aftermarket. Phonetic transliteration is a distinct strategy from the descriptive approach used in .wanggou or .tushu, where the string translates a category term instead of approximating a name's sound.
