.mii Domain Information
The .mii string is a three-character namespace applied for in ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program — the scarcest class of asset in the program, pursued largely independently of sector because brevity cannot be sourced from any established extension.
Short strings built from repeated characters occupy a particular niche: they are easy to type, distinctive on sight, and unlikely to be confused with longer words, but they carry no inherent meaning and depend entirely on the applicant to supply one. The extension is not currently active in the DNS root zone and is not available for registration by any party.
