.ice Domain Information
Exchanges, clearing houses, and market data services sit behind .ice, a three-letter restricted extension from ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program. Market infrastructure operators carry an exposure distinct from retail finance: pricing feeds, settlement instructions, and clearing communications move very large sums between institutions, and impersonation of a market operator is among the higher-value forms of business email compromise.
Use covers exchange and clearing content, market data resources, and institutional destinations. Registration is closed to the public and the extension carries no aftermarket. The string is also an ordinary English noun, and at three characters it belongs to the round's scarcest class — an unusually strong combination.
