Insurance services framed the .goodhands application in ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program. The string comes from an advertising slogan rather than a corporate or product name — an unusual category in the round, resting on the argument that a phrase repeated in broadcast advertising for decades carries more public recognition than the company name behind it.

Slogan strings share the fragility of tagline applications generally: campaigns change on a marketing cycle, while an extension is permanently bound to its string and cannot follow. The extension is not currently active in the DNS root zone and is not available for registration by any party.
