.gmo Domain

Internet infrastructure, domain registration, hosting, and financial services sit behind .gmo, a three-letter closed extension from ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program. Applications from within the domain industry itself form a distinctive cluster in the round: registry and registrar businesses understood the namespace argument earlier than most and had the technical capability to operate a registry in-house.

Use covers group and service content, business-unit destinations, and corporate resources. Registration is closed to the public and the extension carries no aftermarket. The string also collides with a widely used agricultural abbreviation, giving it independent recognition and search demand entirely unrelated to the operator's business.
