.caseih Domain Information
Agricultural machinery — tractors, combines, and implements — frames the .caseih application from ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program. Farm equipment has a long service life and a substantial parts and dealer ecosystem, which is precisely the environment where counterfeit components and fake dealer sites find buyers: purchasers are often sourcing parts for machines decades old, through search rather than through an established supplier relationship.
A registry agreement was signed in September 2015, with Specification 13 .brand status, and was subsequently terminated. Agricultural and heavy equipment strings faced a weak operating case, since dealers and distributors carry most of the customer relationship. The string cannot be registered by any party.
