.like Domain

The .like extension is one of the round's closed generics: an ordinary English verb and preposition delegated on a restricted basis through ICANN's 2012 New gTLD Program rather than opened for registration. It carries an additional layer of meaning acquired from social platforms, where the word names a specific interaction — a connotation that did not exist when the domain system was designed.

There is no registration channel, pricing, or aftermarket for .like domains. Short words that function as multiple parts of speech are especially valuable at the top level, since they form natural phrases read across the dot, which is why so few of them reached open registries in the program.
