About .block

The .block domain extension is about a short, familiar word that is also shorthand for blockchain. It suits anyone who wants a name tied to blockchain topics, or to the many other ways people use the word block.

Sites under this name can serve individuals, businesses, organizations, communities and projects that relate to the idea behind the word. You can use it to build an online identity around a blockchain project, a community or a topic you care about.

The top-level domain works because block is broadly recognized and applies across many contexts. Since the word is short and easy to remember, it can fit a wide mix of sites, from technical projects to community pages.
