About .avax

The .avax domain extension gives people and teams working with Avalanche a clear home on the web. AVAX is the symbol of Avalanche's native utility token and a common shorthand for the network and its community.

You might use it for sites about software built on Avalanche, validator and L1 operations, wallets, and apps in DeFi, gaming, SocialFi and creator work. Infrastructure and security providers, educators, and regional groups can also use it for their pages.

Whether you build, run a validator, or simply follow the network, the name helps the public find Avalanche-aligned people and resources. It is a standard top-level domain that works through the regular Domain Name System, so it does not require blockchain-based resolution.
