Order your .fly domain now
.fly opens in three phases, and every one of them is first come, first served. Search your domain now to get your place in line now, and we will submit your order the moment your phase opens.
Sunrise, from September 1. For trademark holders. You will need a validated SMD file from the Trademark Clearinghouse, and our team can help you get one.
Early Access, from November 10. Open to everyone. Pay a one-time fee on top of the registration price to register before general availability. The fee drops each day of the week, and so do your chances on the names everyone wants.
General Availability, from November 17, 2026. Open to everyone at standard pricing, and the phase most people register in. Pre-Order your domain ahead of time, and we submit it to the registry the moment the phase opens. You are not charged until the name is successfully registered, so there is no reason to wait up and try to catch it yourself.
We cannot guarantee any particular name, because it can be taken in an earlier phase or by another registrar.
About .fly
Why register a .fly domain?
Open to everyone. No accreditation, no membership, no verification. If you are in the business of flying, you can register one.
It finishes the sentence. LEARN.FLY and BOOK.FLY read as instructions. A name that tells someone what to do next works harder than one that only says who you are.
Wordplay the whole industry can use. DRAGON.FLY, BUTTER.FLY and MAY.FLY are real words with a web address hiding inside them.
Secure by requirement. HTTPS is required on every .fly website, the same rule Google Registry set for .app and .dev. No .fly site goes live without a certificate.

Frequently asked questions about .fly
The decision depends on whether you have a registered trademark and your budget. If you have a registered trademark, the Sunrise phase is ideal, but you'll need to register your trademark with the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH). Our team can assist you with that process. On the other hand, if you don't have a trademark and are willing to pay extra to secure your desired domain name, Early Access is the recommended phase. Early Access follows a scheduled pricing structure, with earlier days being pricier and costs decreasing significantly in later days. In the last stage of the launch, General Availability, domain names are accessible to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you're still uncertain about which launch phase to register in, take a look at our Launch Phase Infographic, designed to assist you in making an informed decision.
Sunrise - This initial phase is exclusively for trademark holders registered with the Trademark Clearinghouse, allowing them priority registration.
Early Access - Open to everyone, the Early Access phase permits individuals the opportunity to secure a domain name by paying a fee before General Availability. Early Access typically lasts for seven days, with registration fees decreasing throughout the week, along with your odds of securing a specific name as the week progresses.
General Availability - During this phase, any available domain name can be registered by anyone. General Availability Pre-Orders will be automatically processed once the phase begins, offering the best opportunity to secure your preferred domain name.
