To apply for registration of a premium or reserved name, an Application Form must be filled out by the requesting applicant and 101domain will submit this application as a request for approval (RFP). Based upon the Application Form, the registry has the option to assign certain categories to domains from one of the following classes: Non-Exclusive classifications: Generic, Geographic, Registry Operator Designated, Reserved and Standard. Exclusive classes include Ambassador Class and Member Class (defined below).
Ambassador Class: A class of Registrants in which domain names are provided at no cost, (registration fee only waived) in return for that Registrant promoting and adhering to the principles/goals of the TLD. The determination of qualifying for this class is at the sole discretion of the Registry. Successful applicants are permitted to register a domain name for a period of up to five years, with the option of submitting a renewal RFP to the Registry Operator prior to the expiration of the domain name. Any renewal RFP may be granted or declined in Registry Operator’s sole discretion.
The ambassador class of Registrants is required to promote its delegated .世界 domain name and adhere to the principles/goals of the TLD. Failure to promote and adhere to the principles/goals of the TLD or other material representations made in the RFP may result in suspension, transfer and/or cancellation of the domain name at Registry Operator’s sole discretion.
Member Class: A class of Registrants in which the business, organization or individual is a recognized leader in the Chinese marketplace within their respective industry/sector. This class of Registrants is required to adhere to the principles/goals of the TLD, but is not otherwise required to promote the TLD. The determination of qualifying for this class is at the sole discretion of the Registry. Successful applicants are permitted to register a domain name for a period of up to five years at no cost, (registration fee only waived) with the option of submitting a renewal RFP to the Registry Operator prior to the expiration of the domain name. Any renewal RFP may be granted or declined in Registry Operator’s sole discretion. Failure to adhere to the principles/goals of the TLD may result in suspension, transfer and/or cancellation of the domain name at Registry Operator’s sole discretion.
Payment of the registration fee and application fees are required prior to 101domain submitting the RFP application on your behalf. In the event the registry grants the Ambassador Class or Member Class and the five year registration is at no cost, the registration fee will be refunded.
