When you apply for a domain name you must establish that you are a participant in the architecture scene and have established rights to each name applied for.
Participation in the architecture scene is determined by the following criteria:
-Be an individual professional architect or an architecture firm registered as a member of a UIA Member Section; or
-Be an architecture-related organization (such as schools, museums, professional media, etc.) listed as defined by the APAC (.ARCHI Policy Advisory Committee).
Domains will be randomly checked for website content, etc; if eligibility is in doubt, the registry may put the domain name on hold and contact the registrant for additional proof.
