Apple, Google, and Microsoft still don’t understand the new gTLDs. Apple came out with the new Mountain Lion and the Safari doesn’t recognize at least some of the new domains. Google Chrome and Microsofts Internet browser are in the same boat not recognizing the new gTLDs. According to informal tests that have been conducted the Internet browsers don’t recognize .post and .cw addresses. The new Safari doesn’t recognize .sx domains while the old one did in the past. When users enter the new gTLDs the browsers take you to unsearchable page and then get redirected to the Google search engine.
