Red Cross and Olympic Domains

Board of Directors has set a deadline to address the Olympic Committee’s and Red Crosses special gTLD protections. It looks Iike they are both going to get more concessions than they had hoped for in the last two years. ICANN ask the Generic Names Supporting Organization to evaluate the problem prior to the end of January 2013. ICANN stated that they would take matters into their own hands if the GNSO did not. Exact matches of the domains names will not be available and be taken down in every single market. To read further click here
