New registrar contract

Although last minute objections have been expressed, ICANN is ready to rule on the new 2013 accreditation standards. This would mean having new protocols when individuals registrar for a new name. This new protocol will also set up a new privacy/proxy protocol and more clarity on the reseller domain name business. Some registrars will not be thrilled about the last minute changes that were brought up by ICANN. For example, the advisory role they will have to play when verifying client information. Whether or not registrars are happy with these rules they will have to comply and sign if they would like to sell any domains for the rest of the year and or until new rules are set into motion.
