Google wants an Association

This morning, a meeting in Amsterdam was organized by Google inviting new gTLD applicants to participate in creating a trade association to promote the new gTLDs. The associations purpose will be to raise awareness around the new gTLDs outside of the ICANN community. The awareness needs to be spread to software developers and marketing individuals who can bring the rest of people up to speed. Ironically Google who is spearheading this campaign is an applicant of more than 100 new gTLDS. To read further click here.
