Google and Amazon come on!

Members of the domain name industry led by Michele Nevlon are planning to complain to ICANN about the dozens of small registrant gTLD applications Amazon and Google filed. The letter stated specifically that .blog, .cloud, .music were some of the applications they had issues with. The companies want to benefit from the second level domains. For example google wants .blog for its blogspot users, which is proposterous to think their users should only be able to benefit from that name. Nevlon plans to send her letter to ICANN stating her lists of offenses the two companies have committed by requesting those particular names. To read further click here.
