And the Complaints Roll In

The number of applications was surpassed by the number comments and notable objections. The concerns that were expressed had some significant value and need to be addressed by ICANN.  A complaint was received from Save the Children that the gTLD .health is a problematic domain and that it should not be sold as a first come first serve basis. They worry that it would a public resource for individuals and that it should not be just bought by anyone.  The same complaint was carried out by International Medical Informatics Association.  The Olympic Committee commented that they are in the support of the domain .SPORT, however the applicant needed to serve the global interest in connection with the  global sports community.
