- Is .WS recognized and accredited by ICANN?
- .WS is a country code domain so it does not fall under the authority of ICANN. SamoaNIC.ws is the Registry for the .WS domain, and operates under a long term contract with the island of (Western) Samoa.
- Will my .WS domain work like a .COM domain?
- Absolutely! .WS domains work exactly the same as a .com domain.
- Can I register a domain and keep my personal information private?
- We do not offer private domain registration. When doing a "whois" search, the name, phone number and email address used by the registrant at the time of registration will be available. Be aware that personal information such as your name and contact info will be made available.
