- In case of an application for a Turkish character (?, ?, , ?, , ) encoded domain name, the current rules and procedures on https://www.nic.tr web page apply unless the ascii encoded representation of the domain name has already been registered. In other words, Turkish character encoded domain names will be registered in accordance with official documents confirming the rightful ownership for documents-required domain names such as com.tr, org.tr etc.; and on the basis of first come first served policy for no-documents-required domain names, for instance web.tr, gen.tr.
- What is the first step in the registration process and how can I tell if the name I want in .TR is still available?
- You must first check to see if a domain name is available. You may do so by using the whois located on our site or another whois application.
- How long does it take to register my .TR domain name?
- Provided all of the information submitted to 101Domain by the registrant (you) is complete and accurate, it generally takes 3-4 business days.
