Is there an established dispute policy for .ru domain names?
There is no local administrative dispute resolution policy available for the domain name disputes resolution under RU due to low costs of the Court litigation in Russia. Nevertheless, Coordination Center for TLD RU is planning to undertake research involving Russian and international experts in this field in order to ensure effectiveness of domain disputes resolution.
What should I do if legal action is taken?
In case of Court litigation, we recommend you to use terminology, defined in our rules for domain name registration and policies; and to appeal for the "suspension" of the domain name (in order to block domain name transfers).
