.NA Domain General FAQ Namibia FAQ - What is a domain name?
- A Domain Name is your address on the Internet. It is your unique identity on the Internet that corresponds to your numeric address "IP." Or in simple terms, a domain name is the part of your Internet address that comes after "www".
- What does .NA stand for?
- The two-letter abbreviation, .NA, is a unified standard system agreed upon to identify and reserve domain names specified for Namibia.
- Is 101Domain liable or responsible for my domain name?
- In no event shall 101Domain be liable to any user of our network, any customer, nor any third party for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages for actions taken pursuant to 101Domain's user policy, including, but not limited to, any lost profits, business interruption, loss of programs or other data, or otherwise, even if 101Domain was advised of the possibility of such damages. 101Domains liability for any breach of a condition or warranty implied by this AUP shall be limited to the maximum extent possible to one of the following (as 101Domain may determine):
(a) supplying the services again; or
(b) paying the cost of having the services supplied again.
- What rights does 101Domain reserve?
- At its sole discretion, 101Domain reserves the right to:
(a) Remove or alter content, zone file data or other material from its servers provided by any
person that violates the provisions or requirements of the user policy; or
(b) terminate access to the 101Domain Network by any person that 101Domain determines has violated
the provisions or requirements of the user policy.
* In any regard, 101Domain is not responsible for the content or message of any newsgroup posting,
e-mail message, or web site regardless of whether access to such content or message was
facilitated by the 101Domain Network. 101Domain does not have any duty to take any action with
respect to such content or message by creating this universal policy, and users of the 101Domain network are
obliged and required to ensure that their use of a .NA Domain Name or the 101Domain Network is
at all times in accordance with the requirements of the user policy and any applicable laws and/or
regulations of Namibia.
