.MX Domain Registration Process Mexico FAQ - What does the domain registration process entail?
- 1. Verify the availability of the domain name that you want to register.
2. If you checked the availability of the domain name, select the registration you want to realize:
-simple: where the information of one contact applies to the three roles of the associated domain names
-advanced: where the information of every associated contact of the domain is different
3. Subsequently you select the coverage of the domain name registration and supply the contact details and the technical information.
4. Finally, indicate the method of payment.
- What is the common procedure/practice for domain name applicants?
- 1) The applications received by NIC Mexico are processed in order of receiving, in accordance with the regulation of NIC Mexico.
2) NIC Mexico doesnt allow applications for a change in the domain names that are just inscribed.
3) NIC will send a response to every applicant of who they received an application, this email indicate that NIC Mexico received the application. (NIC Mexico is not responsible if the mail isnt working).
4) Prior to the fulfillment of the corresponding requirements, and within 24 working hours after the application of a domain name, NIC Mexico will notify the administrative contact or/and the applicant by mail about the domain name registration.
