Are there specific syntax rules for .HN domain names?
Yes. The only valid characters for a DNS domain name are the letters of the English alphabet (a - z, the DNS does not distinguish between capital letters and small letters), the digits (0 - 9) and the script ( - ).
* First and/or the last character of the domain name cannot be the script ( - ).
* The minimum number of characters for a second level domain name under the .HN extension is 3. The suggested minimum number of characters for a domain name is 5, to reduce the chance of conflict.
* The maximum number of characters for a second level domain name under the .HN extension is 63. The suggested maximum for practical purposes is 24.
