- A Domain Name is your address on the Internet. It is your unique identity on the Internet that corresponds to your numeric address "IP". Or in simple terms, a domain name is the part of your Internet address that comes after "www".
For example, in http://www.abc.com.gl, the domain name is abc.com.gl - What is a .GL domain name?
- The .GL Domain, which is also called .GL ccTLD (country code Top Level Domain), is the top level domain on the Internet allocated for use by Greenland by ICANN (Internet Coporation for Assigned Names and Numbers).
- What if I would like to transfer the use of my domain name to someone else?
- The user of a domain name can transfer use of the name to a another party. The transfer shall contain information on the present user, future user, the current provider of Name Service and future provider of Name Service, and confirmation that all of the above parties are in agreement with such transfer.
- How can my registration be canselled or suspended?
- Authorization of a domain name may be recalled in the case of late or missing payment, incorrect or misleading information, or any suspicious activity deemed inappropriate by 101Domain.
