  • A Domain Name is your address on the Internet. It is your unique identity on the Internet that corresponds to your numeric address "IP". Or in simple terms, a domain name is the part of your Internet address that comes after "www".
    For example, in http://www.abc.com.et the domain name is abc.com.gd
    "abc" is the name of the company ABC (fictious name)
    "com" is to represent that ABC is a Commercial Company and
    "gd" the top level domain that represents Grenada
    Domain names provide a system of easy-to-remember Internet addresses, which can be translated by the Domain Name System (DNS) into the numeric addresses (Internet Protocol (IP) numbers) used by the network.
  • What is a .GD domain name?
  • The .GD Domain, which is also called .GD ccTLD (country code Top Level Domain), is the top level domain on the Internet allocated for use by Grenada by ICANN (Internet Coporation for Assigned Names and Numbers).
  • How can my registration be cancelled or my domain name be terminated?
  • 101Domain may cancel this agreement or suspend delegation of a name on seven days written notice (electronic e-mail message being regarded as writing for this purpose):
    a) If the name is administered in a way likely to endanger the operation of the Top Level Domain.
    b) If the terms of this agreement have been broken by the applicant.
    c) If in the opinion of the Company the name is being used in a manner likely to cause confusion to internet users or is misleading.
    d) If it has come to the Company's attention that legal action has been commenced regarding use of the name.
    e) Where an invoice has been issued for the payment of the renewal fee under clause 3 above which then remains unpaid for 30 days.
