- CZ.NIC z.s.p.o. is an interest group of companies, founded on May 24, 1998, by fifteen companies - major providers of Internet services.
- What will happen if a designated registrar stops providing the service?
- All domain names will be transferred from this registrar to LRR. The holder will be informed about this, and be asked to choose another registrar. Such domains will remain in LRR until the expiration date at the latest. There will also be a protective period, in which the holder will be asked again to choose a registrar. The domain will then be removed from DNS and the registration will be possibly cancelled.
- How can I change the designated registrar?
- You have to contact a new registrar this registrar will take care of all necessities. The period for which a domain is pre-paid in the central register does not change when the domain is transferred to another registrar.
