.BY Domain Requirements & Criteria Belarus FAQ - Who is eligible to register a .BY domain name?
- Registration and delegation of second level domain names in BY zone is allowed to private persons and legal entities residing in Republic of Belarus, as well as to private persons and legal entities from other countries.
* It is recommended that public, governmental, military and law-enforcement institutions of Republic of Belarus should register third level domain names under GOV.BY, MIL.BY, respectively. - How can my application for registration be cancelled or rejected?
- Any application for registration of a domain name can be unconditionally rejected or shelved in the following cases:
* If a domain name already exists and has been registered to other registrant;
* If a domain name contains obscenities and/or word forms contravening to the legislation of Republic of Belarus;
* If a domain name does not comply with the requirements of the syntax rules.
** Note: Absence of any information resources in open access in the Internet (in the form of web-site, email server or other presentation of information), or DNS-records does not infer availability of such domain for registration. - What must I do after my application has been approved and my registration is process is complete?
- You must always remember to inform 101domain of any changes in operation of their subscribers (change of company/corporation name), IP-addresses, DNS-servers, change of responsible officers, disconnection from Internet, etc. 101domain will make the necessary changes and/or modifications to your account in a timely manner.
