.BV Domain General FAQ Bouvet Island FAQ - What is a .BV domain name?
- .BV domain names are no longer being registered. Applicants are now encouraged to register under .NO (Norway).
- Why do I need to contact a registrar?
- The registrar is the link between your organization and 101Domain. All domains within .no must be associated with a registrar, and all applications for domain names must be submitted through the registrar. You cannot register the domain name directly with 101Domain.
- What does the registrar do?
- The registrar helps you when you want to apply for a domain name. They also help you with changes to the information related to the domain name, and with renewal, transfer, or termination of the domain name registration.
- Where can I find a registrar?
- You can choose from all the providers in 101Domain's list of registrars.
- Which registrar should I choose?
- 101Domain has a policy of equal treatment of all the registrars with whom we have an agreement, and therefore we do not recommend one registrar rather than another. It may however, be wise to check references and investigate the prices and terms offered by several registrars before you decide. Always ask which services are included in the price.
