  • What is a domain?
  • A domain name is an address on the internet. The two uses you'd be most familiar with are web addresses, where a domain name is prefixed by "www" and email addresses, where the domain name follows the "@" symbol.
  • What is a .BM domain?
  • Bermuda's name on the Internet is .BM (Dot BM), which is the Country Code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) for Bermuda.
  • What are name servers?
  • Domain name servers contain the information of which IP address belongs to which domain name. Each time a site is addressed on the internet, a name server must return the relevant IP address in order to enable the browser to establish a direct connection to the site.
101Domain requests at least two valid name server entries even at the registration of the domain. Please contact your ISP unless you have these entries.
