- Bosnia and Herzegovinas name on the Internet is .BA (Dot BA), which is the Country Code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- What is a domain holder?
- The domain holder is the bearer of all rights and liabilities regarding a domain. He can dispose of, use, rent or transfer the domain to another person etc. No domain data must be modified without the domain holder's approval. However, he also has the responsibility to pay for open domain fees (himself or via an ISP), and he is liable for legal infringements regarding the domain. The domain holder is the only one who can effectively cancel the domain or transfer it to a third party.
- What are name servers?
- Domain name servers contain the information of which IP address belongs to which domain name. Each time a site is addressed on the internet, a name server must return the relevant IP address in order to enable the browser to establish a direct connection to the site.
101Domain requests at least two valid name server entries even at the registration of the domain. Please contact your ISP unless you have these entries.
- What are my obligations as a .BA domain name owner?
- a) The domain name user is obliged to use it only for the purpose it has been registered;
b) The domain name user is obliged to use it in usual way that is in the way which is common within the World Internet Community;
c) The domain name user is obliged to obey and conduct the technical recommendation of 101Domain;
d) The domain name user is obliged to keep 101Domain informed about his/her change of the data and the domain name use;
e) The domain name user is obliged to cooperate with 101Domain on the issues regarding limitation and prevention of the activities that represent the domain misuse and do harm to domain users as well as .BA domain users at all;
f) The domain name user must insure the technical conditions for domain connection check the domain connection after the registration and the data announced on 101Domain.com and inform 101Domain immediately about possible changes or inaccuracy.
- What am I responsible for/held accountable for?
- The domain name user is fully and personally responsible for:
a) The domain name choice;
b) The legality of the domain name choice and use;
c) The injuries of the third person rights caused by the domain name choice and use (especially rights of the name, firm, stamp and other rights of intellectual property);
d) The harm to the third persons caused by the domain name choice or use.
