The Republic of Paraguay is a landlocked South American Country. It has an estimated population of approximately 6.5 million people and the official languages are Spanish and Guaran.
The Paraguayan economy is market based and there is a large informal sector that specializes in re-exportation of goods to neighboring countries. There is also a large contribution to the economy from microenterprises, the industrial and manufacturing sectors and the growing pharmaceutical industry.
