9 Oct 2007 Sunrise 1 (SR1) : Governmental Reserved Names

 Governments or relevant bodies many activates domains from the Reserved Named list compiled in Pre-Sunrise. Activations must be procured through .Asia Accredited Registrars
.
 Note that SR1 commences together with SR2a
.
 SR1 application will be processed and allocated on a First-Come-First Served basis.
9 Oct to 30 Oct 2007 Sunrise 2 (SR2) : Registered Marks
Sunrise 2a (SR2a) : Early Bird Sunrise
.
 Mark must be applied for before 16 March 2004 (SR2a Cut off Date)
.
 Mark must be issued and valid upon domain registration application
.
 Applicant must have demonstrable usage of Mark (in the class if applicable) registration
.
 Registrant must be owner, co-owner or assignee of Mark
.
 Documentary evidence is not mandatorily required, but required upon request
.
 Must meet the Charter Eligibility Requirement
.
 All applications received during the respective SR2 and SR3 period will be treated as received at the same time (within their respective period)
.
 No action will be conducted for domains with only one successfully verified. If there is more than one applicant to the same domain passes the verification processes, the domain will go into "Auction Process". Auction will be held exclusively amongst eligible bidders and conducted online. Further details on auction process will be provided soon.
13 Nov to 15 Jan 2008 Sunrise 2b (SR2b) : General Registered Marks

 Mark must be applied for before 6 December 2006 (SR2b Cut Off Date)

 Mark must be issued and valid upon domain registration application

 Registrant must be owner, co-owner or assignee of Mark
.
 Documentary evidence is not mandatorily required, but required upon request
.
 Must meet the Charter Eligibility Requirement

 All applications received during the respective SR2 and SR3 period will be treated as received at the same time (within their respective period)

 No action will be conducted for domains with only one successfully verified. Sunrise 2c (SR2c) : Extended Protection

 Mark must be eligible for SR2a or SR2b (application for domain in SR2a/b is not a pre-requisite

 Domain Name Applied For may be constituted with mark plus significant words from the class description in the Nice Classification system (http://www.wipo..int/classifications/nivilo/nice/)

 E.g. Mark for "XYZ" in Nice Class 1: "Clemicals" may apply for "XYZChemicals.Asia"

 Must meet the Charter Eligibility Requirement

 Documentary evidence (e.g. Certification of incorporation, etc.) is required and must be submitted

 Submitted documents will be posted publicly

 Must meet the Charter Eligibility Requirement
